Training Courses
We understand that many of our customers and students are eager to return to classroom training, as schools, colleges and further education establishments are starting to re-open with lockdown easing.
We are reintroducing a selection of our most popular classroom courses, please contact your local Learning Academy for the courses we will be introducing first.
Before we open
COVID-19 risk assessments of our Learning Academy training centers and classrooms have been completed along with full deep cleans, using recommended cleaning materials for COVID-19.
To ensure our students and trainers can maintain a safe social distance, and have sufficient space to effectively learn, we’re reducing our classroom training capacity by approximately 30%. This will start to increase once lockdown measures are eased, and government advice enables us to deliver larger training courses.
We have created extra break-out areas for students to learn or safely browse online and have put up COVID-19 safety and awareness signage throughout each Learning Academy training centers.
We’re also implementing one-way systems around our training centers, where applicable and practical.
We have staggered start times for courses to reduce student numbers – meaning we can offer flexibility on training times.
On training days
On arrival at the building entrance, each site is different, however you will be welcomed by Rapiscan Systems staff who will provide you with site specific directional support and advice on safety protocols.
We are reducing the touchpoints at the reception desk where your details will be taken, and local COVID-19 protocols will be followed. This may include temperature checks, Track and Trace detail capture or the provision of local government required PPE.
All desks, chairs, equipment, and classrooms will be sanitized clean before the start of each course. Classrooms and breakout areas will be deep cleaned at the end of each day of the course.
All air conditioning will be put onto continuous flow to encourage the circulation of fresh air. For some locations this may feel slightly cooler than usual, therefore we ask that you bring a jumper or sweatshirt.
UK: Working with the NHS Test and Trace
Our UK Learning Academy team are working with the NHS Test and Trace Service to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Site specific instructions, including QR codes, will be provided at our Salfords Learning Academy training Centre.
