The Rapiscan Eagle® PA3000 is a high energy X-ray system for inspecting air cargo on pallets or in containers. With a maximum tunnel opening of 2,500 mm x 3,000 mm, it is capable of scanning even the largest air cargo containers. The powerful 3 MV linear accelerator X-ray generator combined with Rapiscan Systems’ imaging technology achieves 250 mm
of steel penetration. The Rapiscan Eagle PA3000 is designed to support a busy cargo operation. Inspectors use Rapiscan’s easy-to-use Cargo Viewer software to display and evaluate the X-ray images. The Rapiscan Eagle PA3000 products are available with an optional Rapiscan VEDS neutron inspection system, which helps to detect the presence of explosives and drugs in the cargo.
