The M10 offers the same Rapiscan Eagle® high quality imaging and robust features in a fully self-contained, lighter, rapid deployment package.
Built on the successful Eagle High Energy X-ray systems already proven in the field, the Eagle M10 has been integrated onto a commercially available truck chassis. The system inspects cargo in vehicles and allows the operator to detect items that include explosives, narcotics, currency, agricultural products, weapons, and other contraband. The Eagle M10 is road-worthy, all weather and can be operated in most countries without any specialized drivers licensing.
The Eagle® M10 meets the following operational requirements:
- Threat Detection: Scans cargo pallets, passenger vehicles and trucks for detection of contraband, narcotics, weapons and smuggled goods.
- Penetration: Up to 150 mm (5.90 in) of steel penetration with 1 MeV Linear Accelerator provides comprehensive screening.
- Imaging: Industry leading image quality, plus advanced image enhancement functions to quickly identify contents of vehicle being scanned.
- Highly Mobile and Deployable: Can drive on public roads for quick deployment and redeployment with no weight or width permits. Self-contained with easy-to-use controls for fast set up.
- Reliable and Easy to Use: Operates in all weather conditions for extended periods of time with high throughput. Designed for ease of operations, training and maintenance.
- Certified Safe: Meets applicable radiation, health and safety regulatory requirements without need for radioactive materials license.
